■今朝は頑張って走りました。昨日も走ったのですが、5月も残り1週間となり、いよいよ目標の月100キロ走を達成するのが難しくなってきました。
昨夜は早めに休み、今朝はいつもの通り5時に起きて、とにかくゆっくりで良いから長く走ろうと心に決めて、走り始めました。いつものコースを、ゆっくりと走り続けて、今日は1時間34分15秒と長く走り続けることができました。
途中で花々の写真を何枚か撮って気晴らしをしながら走りましたので、距離的には11.8キロと短めでしたが、それでもこれで11回のランで、76.15キロメートルを積み重ね、100キロまで残り7日で23.84kmのところまで来ました。
実に爽やかな朝でした。天気予報では曇りから、ひょっとすると雨が降るかもしれないと心配していたのですが、実に爽やかな青空でした。
ただし走り終わる7時頃になると、もう気温が上がってきて日差しの下を走っていると、辛くなってきました。最後は日陰を求めて、選んでコースを走るようになりました。
そんな走り方をしていると、以前何回も走った皇居ランを思い出します。東京駅から桜田門へ行く途中、御影石の歩道があります。とてもきれいですし重々しくて素晴らしいのですが、気温が上がってくると、その上を走るのは、まさに岩盤浴の上を走るような感じなのです。下から熱せられてたまりません。
そして一周5キロのコースを走る途中でも、とにかく木陰をもとめて走るコースを変えていかないと、たちまち脱水になってしまいそうなのです。今朝も走りながら、そんなことを思い出していました。
今日の積み重ねで、なんとか目標ラインぎりぎりのところまで来ました。文字通り、あと1週間の残り時間となりました。
■今朝の東京新聞朝刊には、コロナウイルスによる緊急事態宣言によって、営業の自粛を強制されてきた、水商売協会のクラブのママさんらが窮状を訴える記事が掲載されています。
『生きていけない 休業いつまで』
首都圏でも緊急事態宣言の解除の準備が進む中、ナイトクラブやキャバクラ店など接待を伴う飲食業が危機に陥っています。経済的には既に限界を超えており、性風俗に身を投じる女性も出始めています。クラブのママやキャバクラ嬢らがマスク越しに声をあげました。
22日夜、全国のナイトクラブやキャバクラ店で働く女性ら約1,000人で作る日本水商売協会が都内で会見を開きました。
『バブルがはじけた時も、リーマンショックの時も、なんとかくぐり抜けてきた。でも今回は苦しくて仕方がない』
水商売協会代表の甲賀香織さんは、
『営業再開できた時には、店が半分ほどに減っている恐れもある。家賃が払えず、東京を去ったり、経済的な苦しさに付け込まれ、男性客から嫌な思いをさせられたり、性風俗で働き始めたりする女性が出てきている』
水商売協会では、独自にガイドラインを作成し、日本感染症学会の医師の監修を受け、店内では客の間隔をあけマスク姿で接客することや、女性の「チェンジは無し」とすることなどを盛り込みました。
客に渡航歴や体温連絡先などの健康状態を記入してもらい、保健所から要請があれば提出するなど、これまで客のプライバシー保護を優先してきた業界にとって画期的な内容となっています。
しかしこうしたガイドラインを評価したのは千葉県だけで、東京都は1ヶ月以上返答がなく、埼玉県からは「認められない」との回答を受けました。
この記事を読んで思うことは、こうした業界の皆さんに対する根深い偏見です。政治家や行政にしてみると、自分たちは散々、こうした業界の皆さんにお世話になっているにもかかわらず、政治的には顧みなくても良い、じゃけんにしても構わないという根深い差別意識のもとに行動しているとしか思えないのです。
安倍総理にしても、小池東京都知事にしてもそうなのですが、語っている言葉と行動とが、まるで乖離しているのです。言っていることは国民のこと、都民のことを慮っているふりをしているのですが、行動から見れば結局は自分ファーストでしかないのです。
いい加減、私たちはその偽善に気づくべきなのです。ありがたがって拝聴している場合ではないのです。国民の生活、都民の生活は壊れていくばかりです。
自分のことしか考えない政治家ほど、たちの悪いものはありません。いつになったら国民は、そのことに気づくのでしょうか。手遅れかもしれません。でも諦めるわけにはいかないのです。
テレビなどのマスコミの報道を、ただ漫然と受け入れていては、自分たちの首を絞めるだけなのです。

It’s very clean, heavy, and wonderful, but when the temperature rises, it feels like running on a bedrock bath. I am dying to be heated from below.
And even if we are running a 5km course, we have to change the course in which we seek the shade of the trees, and we’ll be dehydrated immediately. As I ran this morning, I remembered that.
With the accumulation of today, I managed to reach the end of the target line. Literally, we have one week left.

Whether it is Prime Minister Abe or Governor Koike of Tokyo, the words they speak and their actions are completely different. What they say is pretending to be thinking about the people and the citizens of the city, but from the point of view of their actions, they are only themselves first.
We should be aware of the hypocrisy as soon as possible. The life of the people and the people of Tokyo are only destroyed by listening to their words.
