■20200622（月曜日：雨）　Local newspapers

■今朝はゆっくりと休みました。昨日は梅雨の合間で雨も降らず風も吹きましたので、曇りがちで爽やかな一日でした。

今朝の天気予報では午後から雨ということでしたので、朝は走るつもりでした。残念ながら雨の降り始める時間が少し早まったようです。準備をして玄関を出たところ小雨とはとても言えないほどの強さで雨が降っていました。せっかく準備をしたのですが、こればかりは致し方ありません。新聞を取ってきて朝食の準備を始めました。

■さて新聞を広げて紙面が明らかに変わったのに驚きました。文字の大きさが昨日までより大きく文字の間も広がって、とても読みやすくなったと感じたのです。第一面の記事はゲーム障害において未成年者の依存深刻というものと左半分には下田市長に新人松木氏が大差で現職破る、と書かれているのです。いつも読んでいる東京新聞で、なぜ下田市長選挙なのかと疑問に思ったのですが、その時は原因に気づきませんでした。

新聞を最後まで読んでみて理由はわかりました。新聞店が間違えて、東京新聞の代わりに静岡新聞を届けてくれたのです。取扱店はたくさんの種類の新聞を処理していますので、間違えて配達してしまったのでしょう。静岡に住んでいますので静岡新聞を読むことは、地元で何が問題になっているかを知るには最も良いのでしょうが、残念ながら私には少し地域性が強すぎる感じがします。

こうした地域の新聞のあり方が難しい時代です。アメリカでは地域の新聞が消失してしまった地域が、どんどん増えているそうです。その原因はネットの普及です。多くの人がネットでニュースを見て、それで良しとしてしまっています。

新聞をじっくり読むという習慣が消えつつあるのです。決して時間がないというわけではないのです。テレビを見ている時間は日本よりもアメリカの方がずっと多いそうですから、その時間の少しを新聞に割り当てれば良いのですが、残念ながら現代人は新聞よりはテレビになってしまいますし、それ以外の時間はネットで潰れてしまうようです。

しかしネット上に溢れるニュース記事というものは、新聞や雑誌が取材の上作られているものですから、ネットはある意味タダ乗りしている訳です。GoogleもYahooもニュース原稿に対する掲載料は支払っていないはずです。

それでは新聞社とか雑誌社は多額の経費を掛けて記事を作成しても元が取れません。いわゆるプラットホーマーと呼ばれる大手のIT企業には、何らかの形で税金をかけるべきだというのは正論です。

Local newspapers

I took a good rest this morning. Despite the rainy season, there was no rain yesterday and the wind blew so it was a cloudy and refreshing day.

The weather forecast said it would rain this afternoon, so I was going to run in the morning. Unfortunately, the time when it started to rain seems to have come a little earlier. I was ready to run and left the entrance, but it was raining so hard that I couldn’t say it was light rain. I made preparations, but there is nothing I can do about this. I got the newspaper and started preparing breakfast.

■ I was surprised that the newspaper page was clearly changed. I felt that the size of the letters was larger than it was yesterday, and the gap between the letters was wider, making it much easier to read. The article on the front page says that the game dependence among minors is serious, and the left half says that the new candidate will break the current position by a large difference in the Shimoda mayoral election. I was wondering why the Shimoda mayoral election was in the Tokyo newspaper that I subscribe to, but at that time I didn’t notice the cause.

I read the newspaper all the way through and found out why. The newspaper store mistakenly delivered the Shizuoka newspaper instead of the Tokyo newspaper. The dealers handle so many types of newspapers that they may have delivered them by mistake. I live in Shizuoka, so reading the Shizuoka newspaper is probably the best way to find out what’s wrong with the locals, but unfortunately I feel a little too local.

It is a time when it is difficult to manage local newspapers. In the United States, the number of local newspapers that have disappeared is increasing. The cause is the spread of the internet. Many people watch the news online and do not read newspapers.

The habit of reading newspapers slowly is disappearing. It’s not that we have no time. It seems that people spend much more time watching TV in the US than in Japan, so you can allocate a little of that time to the newspaper. Unfortunately, modern people prefer TV to newspapers, and at other times they enjoy the internet.

However, the news articles that overflow on the net are made by interviewing newspapers and magazines, so the net is in a sense free. Neither Google nor Yahoo should have paid for the news manuscript.

Then, newspaper publishers and magazine publishers will not make a profit even if they spend a lot of money to write articles. There is no doubt that large IT companies, so-called platformers, should somehow be taxed.

■20200621（日曜日：晴れ）　A full of a middle man nation

■今日は新沼津カントリークラブの理事長杯予選でした。何年ぶりかに出場しました。最近は練習の成果が出て、あまり大たたきはしなかったのですが、今日は2番ホールでOBを連発し沈没してしまいました。

良いショットもあったのですが、やはり大叩きをすると立ち直るのは難しいようです。ここ2年間は、いつも東京で会議がありますので、予選には出場できなかったんですが、今年はコロナウイルス蔓延のために会議が中止となり、予選に出場することができました。

せっかくの機会を生かすことができず大変残念でした。今日の経験を生かして次の大会に備えなければいけません。

■さて昨日から、ようやくプロ野球が開幕しました。まだ無観客での試合ですが、やはり例年行われているスポーツの試合がないと日常生活の彩りが、とても寂しくなってしまいます。仕事だけの毎日は、やはり寂しいものです。

文化や芸術は、それがなければ生活できないというわけではありませんが、こうしてコロナ禍の下、楽しむことができなくなってみると本当にその存在価値の大きさに気づくのです。やはり人はパンのみにて生きるにあらず、ということでしょうか。

ドイツをはじめヨーロッパ諸国では、文化芸術に対する社会の評価が日本とは明らかに違います。演奏家などに対する支援も日本とヨーロッパでは、まさに天と地ほど違うことが報道されています。

日本では、いわゆるフリーランスの演奏家は、あっという間に生活が行き詰まってしまうのですが、ヨーロッパではきちんと生活保障がなされています。

どうでもいいような施策に大きな金額の税金が投与され、しかもかなりの部分が電通やパソナにピンハネされてしまう日本の体制では、芸術にまでお金が回らないというのが実態なのでしょう。

独裁国家における縁故主義などを批判する報道が日本では散見されますが、とてもひとさまの国を批判することなど日本社会にはできないのです。ある意味日本はピンハネ国家に成り下がってしまったのです。

コロナウイルスの蔓延によって、そうした実態が明るみに出てきたのです。そうした意味だけで捉えれば、コロナウイルスも日本にとっては生まれ変わるための大事な機会を提供してくれたのです。

これを機会として日本社会をまともな国に変えることが大切なのです。

■20200620（土曜日：晴れ）

■今朝は走りました。昨日は終日雨が降り、昨夜から今朝にかけて随分と冷え込みました。寒さの為もあったのでしょうか、二度もトイレに起きて熟睡できませんでした。前もっていつもよりも厚めの掛け布団を用意していたのですが、それでも間に合わなかったようです。

いつものコースを今朝も6.12km走り、今月は13回のランで73.17kmを積み重ねました。月100キロ走達成まで、残り10日で26.83kmを残しています。残り10日ですから、2日に1回いつものコースを走れば目標は達成できます。

ただし梅雨の真っ最中ですから何があるかわかりません。しかも日曜日は予定が入っていて、走るのはそれ以外の日ということになりますので、走れる日は走っておかないといけません。

今朝のランニングでは、体がだるくてまいりました。平均ペースはキロ6分48秒でしたので、自分としては決して悪くはないのですが、とにかく体が重くて前に進むのがやっとでした。睡眠が十分でなかったことが一番大きな原因です。それでも、なんとか完走できましたので良しとしなければいけません。

■さて今朝の東京新聞、国際面にはトランプアメリカ政権の内幕を暴露した著書を近く出版予定のボルトン前大統領補佐官とトランプ大統領の非難合戦についての記事が掲載されています。

ボルトン氏はトランプ大統領を「大統領の能力がない」、かたやトランプ大統領はボルトン氏を「戦争したかったバカ」と非難し合っています。

トランプ大統領に関する報道を見ていると、どうも否定的な論調がマスコミでは多いようです。NHKをはじめ主だった報道機関はトランプ大統領を人種差別的で世界の平和のためにはマイナスの存在であるかのごとく論評しています。またインテリあるいはリベラルと思われる評論家ほどトランプ大統領を否定的に語ります。

田中宇さんの国際ニュースを読んでいる私には、彼らの胡散臭さが目について仕方ありません。NHKニュースを見ていると、NHKは自由と平等と人権の護り神のような姿勢で報道しています。ところが、かたや一方では安倍政権の腰巾着のような存在に堕しています。とても奇妙で、とても滑稽な存在です。何も知らなければ御説ごもっともと納得するのでしょうが、少し勉強してその報道を考察すれば、そのいい加減さがすぐに露呈してしまうのです。

NHKの報道は必要ないといつも思います。時の政権に忖度している報道機関の存在価値などありません。そんな報道を見ているのは、時間と労力の無駄です。素晴らしい番組をたくさん作っているNHKですが、報道番組に関してはその存在価値を少しも認めることができません。根本的な改革が必要です。

トランプ大統領に関しては毀誉褒貶が多いのはもちろん致し方ないのですが、少なくとも事実としてトランプ大統領が就任してから戦争は起きていませんし、世界中の紛争は収束する方向へ向かっています。これは間違いのない事実です。

世界中から手を引こうとしているトランプ大統領。世界の警察官の役割を、それぞれの地域の大国に移譲していこうとする姿勢は決して間違っていません。それぞれの地域における大国が、周囲の国々と話し合いによって責任をもって平和と安定を維持していくという姿勢は、決して間違っていないと思えるのです。世界の多極化ということでしょうか。

もう一期トランプ大統領が務めることで、その流れは確定するに違いありません。民主党のバイデン候補が大統領になれば、その流れは逆転し地域紛争が再燃する可能性が高いと私は考えています。

■20200619（金曜日：雨）　A snowy night

■今朝はゆっくりと休みました。昨日から雨が降り続いています。梅雨の真っ直中ですから当然です。雨の朝は静かで、私は好きです。ただし走ることができませんので、雨の朝が続いてもらっては困ります。

雪の夜は、もっと好きです。でも静岡県に住んでいる限り、そんな夜は望むことができません。30年以上前、富山県に住んでいた頃、とても素敵な雪の夜を経験しました。

大学病院に勤務していましたが、ある日仕事を終え家に帰るのが夜中の 0 時を回っていました。雪国に暮らすのは初めてでしたが、帰る段になって驚きました。雪が降り積もりワイパーは凍ってしまい、車で帰ることができなくなってしまったのです。つまりは家まで歩くしかありませんでした。

1 時間近くかかったように記憶しています。幸い雪は止んでいたうえに風もなく、吹雪かれるということはありませんでした。もう零時を回っていましたので、行き交う車もほとんどなく、本当に静かな夜でした。

ひとりで、とぼとぼと歩いて帰ったあの夜のことは、今でも鮮明に覚えています。雪が降り積もっていますので、思いの外明るい夜でした。気温も下がり雪も凍っていますので滑って転んだり、あるいは降り積もった雪の中で排水溝に足を取られる可能性もありましたので、一歩一歩用心しながら家に帰りました。家に帰るまで、人とすれ違うことはありませんでした。

本当に静かな、そして素敵な雪の夜でした。

A snowy night

I took a good rest this morning. It has been raining since yesterday. Of course it’s in the middle of the rainy season. It’s quiet on a rainy morning and I like it. However, I can’t run, so I don’t want to have a long rainy morning.

I like snowy nights more. But as long as I live in Shizuoka prefecture, I can’t expect such a night. When I lived in Toyama prefecture more than 30 years ago, I had a wonderful snowy night.

I worked at a university hospital at that time, but it was the first time I lived in a snowy country. One day I finished work and went home at midnight. I was surprised when I got home that night. It was snowing and the wiper was frozen and I couldn’t drive home. In other words, I had no choice but to walk home.

I remember it took about an hour. Fortunately, the snow had stopped, there was no wind, and there was no blizzard. It was already midnight, so there was almost no car and it was a really quiet night.

I still remember vividly that night when I walked back home alone. It was a bright night, unexpectedly because it was covered in snow. The temperature dropped and the snow was frozen, so I could slip and fall, or I could get caught in a drainage ditch in the accumulated snow, so I went home with caution. I didn’t pass each other until I got home.

It was a really quiet and nice snowy night.

■20200618（木曜日：曇）　Turn a misfortune into a blessing

■今朝も走りました。いつものコースを6.11km走り、これで今月は12回のランで67.04kmを積み重ねました。残り12日で月100キロ走まで32.95kmを残しています。

残り12日で33キロですから、2日に一度6キロを走れば間に合う計算になります。計算上は目標達成まで手の届くところに来ましたが、梅雨の真っ最中ですので達成するまでは気を抜くことはできません。

今朝は3日連続のランニングでしたので、体も重く心地よく走るというわけにはいきませんでしたけれども、走り終わって充分冷えたトマトを丸かじりした時の幸福感は何ものにも代えられません。

■さて、東京都知事選挙は今日告示されます。20人程度の方が立候補される見通しです。現職の小池百合子氏、宇都宮健児氏を中心に活発な論戦が行われることを期待しています。

17日には日本記者クラブ主催のオンライン共同会見が行われ、主な立候補予定者が議論を交わしました。私もネットでその様子を見ることができました。ある人の批評によれば「具体性に乏しい小池知事、具体性がありすぎる山本候補」という内容もありました。

今朝の東京新聞「こちら特報部」でも知事選の特集が組まれています。野党共闘が曲がり角を迎えていることを伝えています。様々な解釈がなされていますが、結局のところ野党統一候補が立てられなかったという意味で、現職を利しているのではないかという主張です。

私が考える一番の問題点は、野党第1党の立憲民主党、そして国民民主党も、総選挙に向けて有権者の支持を得るためにはどうしたら良いかという真剣な議論がなされていない点です。

山本代表が常々語るように、野党が一塊になることは大切だが、それだけでは政権は取れない、という指摘は事実です。山本代表が言う消費税五パーセントへの減税が野党共闘の最低条件だという指摘は、その通りなのです。

野党第1党の立憲民主党が、この点に関して決断できないのは本当に残念なことです。いくら憲法を守ることが大事だと唱えたところで、国民の生活が破綻しては何の意味もありません。枝野代表は上から目線で国民に講釈を垂れるだけで国民の生活を第1義的に考えているとは結局思えないのです。それでは与党に勝てません。

有権者に直に触れ合うことで、肌の感覚で山本代表はこの点を実感しているに違いありません。野党議員の皆さんが、その点を真剣に考え、どう行動すれば国民の生活を立て直すことができるかを、まず考えるべきではないでしょうか。

今のままでは国民の生活はどん底に落ち込むばかりです。

東京都知事選挙は国政選挙ではありませんが、国民の生活をもう一度見つめ直すという意味で大きな意味があります。そして来年には確実に実施される総選挙に向けて、これから国をどう舵取りをするのか1人1人が真剣に考える必要があるのです。

新型コロナウイルスによって、国民生活にとって良いことは何一つ起こってはいませんが、しかし有権者が真剣に国の未来を考え直すことができれば、災い転じて福となす可能性もあるのです。

■20200617（水曜日：晴れ）　The Old Man and the Sea

■今朝は走りました。いつものコースを6.08km走り、これで今月は11回のランで60.93kmを積み重ねました。月100キロ走達成まで、残り13日で39.06キロkmとなりました。

梅雨の最中、順調に積み重ねができています。明日からは天候も崩れ、雨の予報となっていますが、私が走るのは早朝だけですので、その間だけなんとか雨が降らずにいてくれればと願っています。

こうした月100キロ走の目標がいつまで達成し続けられるのか、自分でもわかりません。達成可能な分かりやすい目標を持って、毎日を暮らすことはとても大切だと思います。それによって生活を規則正しく律することができるからです。健康を保つという意味でも規則正しい生活は何より大切です。

そうした意味では月100キロ走るという目標は、私にとって最善ともいえるものです。本当はもっと長い距離を、そして月に一度は LSD を敢行しなければならないことは理解しているのですが、なかなか現実的には難しいのです。

何はともあれ、もうしばらくは月100キロ走を実行できそうですので出来るところまで続けるしかありません。怪我をしたり、病気をしたりすれば目標は途絶えてしまいます。その二つだけを避けるように、毎日を注意深く送っています。

■さてこのブログの英語版を4月26日から作り始めています。Googleの翻訳サービス、そしてドイツのサイトサービスである DeepLなどを利用して作っていますが、思わぬ副産物に気づいています。

自分で書いた日本語を英語に翻訳していますから、出来上がった英語版を読むことは苦痛ではありません。それを続けていくと、英語の文章自体を読むことが、以前よりもずっと楽になりました。以前は短い文章でも英語を読むことはなかなか難しかったのですが、英語版のブログを作成し始めてからは、どの分野の英語であっても以前よりもずっと長く読み続けることができるようになりました。これは大きな収穫です。

先日久しぶりにヘミングウェイの「老人と海」を読み直してみました。もう何10回も読んだ本ですので、最初の部分はとてもスムーズに読み始められるのですが、以前と比べると読むことのできるページ数がずっと増えました。これには我ながら驚きました。

簡潔で力強いヘミングウェイの文章は、読めば読むほど味わい深いものです。映画「老人と海」がBSテレビで明日放送されます。スペンサー・トレイシー主演の映画で私も以前観たのですが、原作を読み直し初めてから、もう一度映画も再度観てみたくなりました。録画の予約もしました。また最初からじっくりと観てみたいと楽しみにしています。

The Old Man and the Sea

I ran this morning. I ran 6.08km on the usual course, and I have accumulated 60.93km on 11 runs this month. It has reached 39.06 km in 13 days until it reaches 100 km per month.

Anyway, it seems that I can run 100km a month for a while, so I have no choice but to continue until I can. If I get hurt or get sick, my goals will be lost. I am sending every day carefully to avoid only the two.

■ Well, I started to make an English version of this blog on April 26th. I am using Google’s translation service and DeepL, which is a German site service, etc., but I have noticed an unexpected by-product.

I am translating the Japanese I wrote to English, so reading the completed English version is not a pain. As I continued, reading the English text itself was much easier than before. It used to be difficult to read English even in short sentences, but since I started writing an English blog, I can read it much longer than before. It’s a big harvest for me.

The other day, after a long time, I reread Hemingway’s “The Old Man and the Sea.” It’s a book I’ve read 10 times more, so I can start reading the first part very smoothly, but the number of pages I can read is much higher than before. I was surprised at this.

Hemingway’s writing is concise and powerful, and the more you read it, the more delicious it will be. The movie “The Old Man and the Sea” will be broadcast on BS TV tomorrow. I had seen it before in a movie starring Spencer Tracy, but since I reread the original, I wanted to see the movie again. I made a reservation for recording. I’m looking forward to seeing it again from the beginning.

■20200616（火曜日：曇）　To create a new political force

■今朝は走りました。昨日はのんびりと寝こけてしまい、走ることができませんでしたが、今日はいつものコースを5.99km走り、これで今月は10回のランで54.85kmを積み重ね、月100キロ走まで残り14日で45.14kmのところまで来ました。

通算走行距離が50キロを超えて後半に入ってくると、走る度に残りの距離が目に見えて減ってきます。それがとても励みになります。やはり前半の50キロまでは上り坂のようなもので、いくら走っても届かないような徒労感に襲われます。毎月、毎月同じことを繰り返していますが、今月もとりあえずは50km の峠を越えてほっと一息といったところです。

■さて昨日は7月5日に投票される東京都知事選挙に、れいわ新選組の山本太郎代表が立候補することを表明しました。

公約には新型コロナウイルス対策として都民全員に10万円を給付。全事業者に100万円を迅速に給付する他、大学や専門学校なども一年間授業料免除を掲げました。東京五輪・パラリンピックの中止を主張していくと語っています。

様々な意見があるのは当然ですが、山本代表が立候補してくれて私は良かったと思っています。野党統一候補として無所属で立候補して欲しいという話が山本代表にあったようですが、山本氏が主張した総選挙における消費税5パーセントへの減税に対して、立憲民主党などの賛同が得られなかったということです。

昨年消費税が10パーセントに増税され、国民の生活が苦しくなった上に、新型コロナウイルス感染によって、本当に生活が立ち行かなくなった人々が増えています。それに対して真剣に物事を考える人であれば、消費税の減税は避けて通れないのですが、かつて民主党政権時代に増税を容認した野田元総理や菅元総理などの幹部が減税に反対しているのかもしれません。

しかし私に言わせれば、これは愚の骨頂です。国民の生活を真正面から見ていない政治家であると自ら宣言しているようなものです。そうした意味では、安倍政権と何ら変わるところがありません。そんな野党であっては政権を取ったとしても、国民の生活が今より豊かになる可能性は、まずないでしょう。つまり既存の野党では国民は救われないということです。

そうしたことを深く考えた上で、山本太郎代表は立候補されたのでしょう。新しい政治勢力を創らなければいけないということです。既存の野党勢力は国民の生活よりは自分たちのこと、自分たちの議席のことしか考えていないのです。それでは国民は救われません。

これまでの選挙に参加していなかった人々。選挙など行っても何も変わらないと諦めさせられていた人々。そうした人々に訴えかけることで、山本代表も語っていたように政治は変わる可能性があるのです。

安倍政権は徹底して投票率を下げる政策を行ってきました。選挙に行っても、どうせ世の中は良くならないと思わせることで、投票率を下げ、自分たちの固定支持層のみの得票で多数を握り、やりたい放題の政策をやってきたのです。

なんとしても、これまで投票してこなかった人々に投票所に足を運んでもらい、政治を、そして私たちの暮らしを取り戻さなければなりません。このままでは日本の未来は、まさに暗黒そのものです。

昨日の疲れもあったのでしょうが、それよりも心地よさの方が、走りたいという気持ちより勝ったのです。今日は6月15日ですので、ちょうど月の半ばです。今月の通算走行距離もほぼ半分ということで、予定通りの積み重ねが出来ています。今週の天候はそれほど悪くないので休みを充分取って、さらなる積み重ねをしていくことができそうです。

■さて今週中には東京都知事選への立候補が締め切られます。れいわ新選組の山本太郎代表に是非とも出馬してほしいと私は思っています。宇都宮健児弁護士が立候補されるので野党系の票が分散してしまい小池さんを利するのではないか、という意見はもっともだと思います。

しかし今のままでいくと山本太郎代表が埋没してしまう可能性が大なのです。コロナウイルス感染症の為に山本太郎が得意とする街頭演説会なるものが出来ずにいます。つまりは自分達の主張を直接有権者に訴えるという活動ができずにいます。ネットでしっかりと情報を発信してくれているのですが、やはり数の上でも多くの人々に聞いてもらうのは難しいですし、街頭での訴えによってより多くの有権者に理解してもらうことの方がずっと大切だと思うのです。

かたや小池知事はいわば税金を自分の選挙対策に流用して、CMなどテレビに出まくっています。テレビに出てコロナウイルスの恐怖を煽り、それに対してしっかりとした対策をとっているふりをしている小池知事の術中に、多くの有権者がハマってしまうのは仕方ありません。

山本太郎代表にも立候補をしてもらい、テレビなどのマスコミを通じて、これまで訴えてきた政策を1人でも多くの有権者に知ってもらうことの大切さは、様々な問題点を超えるだけの価値があると私は考えています。

■今のままの野党では100%政権交代は無理です。となると日本の衰退、貧困化、そして治安の悪化は避けようがありません。日本は劣化するばかりです。なんとしても流れを変えなければいけません。

至極真っ当な常識が通用する政治を行わなければならないのです。論語の言葉でしたでしょうか、「信なくば立たず」という言葉があります。つまりは政治に対する民の信頼がなければ政治を行うことができないということです。以前、安倍総理がこの言葉を語っていたのを読みましたが、これ以上タチの悪いブラックジョークは無い、と感じました。

そんな政治を一刻も早く変えなければいけません。私たちが常日頃行動の規範としている常識に則る政治を行えばよいのです。私達は赤信号であれば止まり青信号になれば進む、というごく当たり前のことを毎日繰り返しています。人を傷つけてはいけない人を騙してはいけない、これもまた当たり前の常識です。

しかし今の政治にはそうした常識が全く失われています。国民の前で平気で嘘をつき、公文書を改竄し、法律まで変えてやりたい放題なのです。こんなことがまかり通れば社会は、そして国は崩壊する以外ありません。

なんとしても常識の通用する国にしなければいけません。残された時間は少ないのです。

■今日は新沼津カントリークラブのBクラス水無月杯月例でした。大の仲良し久松さん、そして植松さんと3人でプレイしました。先月は3位に入賞することができましたけれども、今日は梅雨真っ最中ということで、あいにくの天候でした。

霧が立ち込めてほとんど前が見えない状態でのプレーでした。18ホールのうち、グリーンが確認できピンに向かって打つことができたホールが数えるほどしかありませんでした。つまりは霧の中に向かって打つばかりでした。

それでもキャディーさんの指示のおかげで、なんとか無事に92回で回ることができました。まだまだスイングが試行錯誤のため安定せず、一番ホールの2打目からOBが出てしまいました。それでもOPパーで上がり、なんとか大崩れだけはせずにプレイできたのは大きな収穫でした。

相変わらずパットが安定せずに苦しみましたが、それでもスリーパッドは2度だけだったでしょうか。アプローチがあんまり寄らなかったのが苦しかったのですが、それでも1パッドで何度か切り抜けましたので、良しとしなければいけません。

■今日は夕方から Sun と二人で、ララポート沼津に久しぶりに出掛けました。自粛要請が続いていて本当に久しぶりでした。一つはメガネを作る必要があったためです。昨年 12 月に白内障の手術を受け、眼内レンズを入れてもらいましたので、とても鮮明に物が見えるようになり快適な毎日なのですが、スマホの細かい字あるいは遠方を見る際にはメガネの助けが必要です。

裸眼ではマイナス -1.0 D程度の軽い近視になっていて日常生活にはメガネは必要ありません。昼間でも裸眼で運転が可能です。今日は仕事の時に使用する軽い老眼鏡とゴルフの時に使用する遠方視用の眼鏡プラス偏光レンズを購入しました。旅行に行って運転をする際には偏光レンズ付きのメガネが、とても役立つはずです。

■さて東京都知事選挙が近づいてきました。小池知事の再選が有力視されていますが、学歴詐称疑惑問題をはじめ、その政治手法には疑問符が次々と明るみになっています。

選挙が近づくたびに仮想敵を作り、有権者に向かって戦う自分を演出したり、それまでの発言をまるで無かったかのごとく無視してみたり、やっていることは全く安倍総理と瓜二つです。まさに合わせ鏡のごとく、ぴったりと符合します。

一体いつまで日本の有権者は、こうした種類の政治家に騙され続ければ目が覚めるのでしょうか。小泉政権以来失ったものは、あまりにも大きいのです。安倍総理がかつて叫んだ「日本を取り戻す」というのは、まさにブラックジョーク以外の何者でもありません。
