■今朝はゆっくりと休みました。昨日は午後から休診でしたので、普段ですとその時間を使って買い物をしたり、郵便局へ行ったりするのですが、昨日の雨では家に閉じこもるしかありませんでした。夕方からは気温も急激に下がり寒さが募りました。
テレビのニュースを見ていると、小山町では雪が積もっていました。 東京でも急激に気温が下がり、都心でもみぞれがぱらついている模様が報道されていました。
そして今日は、日本海で低気圧が急速に発達し北陸、東北地方、そして北海道では、またしても暴風雪になるとの予報です。こちらでも7時前から風が強まり木々の葉が激しく揺れています。外は青空ですが、日本海側では大雪になっているに違いありません。節分を前に 大荒れの天候となっています。
■今朝の東京新聞9面には「イランとキューバ ワクチン共同開発」と題して記事が書かれています。両国は米国の制裁に苦しむ状況下で近年接近。イランはキューバの高い医療技術力を活かし国産ワクチンの開発も一気に進めたい考えだ、と書かれています。
キューバは医療先進国として知られ、医療協力を海外戦略の重要な手段に据えている、とありますが、こうした情報は日本にいると、ほとんど知ることができません。イランのザリフ外相が昨年11月に首都ハバナを訪問し 、キューバの医療技術を「感動した」と高く評価。両国は医療や化学、 エネルギー分野の協力を確認したと書かれています。
このあたりは以下の記事に詳しく書かれています。アメリカに反対する国々の情報は、どういうわけか私達の手に届かないのが日本の現状です。それによって現状を正しく判断することが、時に大変難しくなっています。まずは知ることから始めないといけません。

■An article entitled “Co-development of his vaccine between Iran and Cuba” is written on page 9 of the Tokyo Shimbun this morning. Both countries have approached each other in recent years under the circumstances of suffering from US sanctions.
It is written that Iran wants to take advantage of Cuba’s high medical technology to develop domestic vaccines at once. Cuba is known as a medically advanced country, and it is said that medical cooperation is an important means of overseas strategy, but such information is hardly known in Japan.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Zarif visited Havana, the capital city last November, and praised Cuba’s medical technology as “impressed.” The two countries are said to have confirmed cooperation in the medical, chemical and energy fields. This area is described in detail in the following article.
The current situation in Japan is that information on countries that oppose the United States is somehow out of our reach. This sometimes makes it very difficult to judge the current situation correctly.
